HIV Counseling, Testing, and Referral

What We Are About

The HIV/CTR (Counseling, Testing and Referral) program provides confidential or anonymous testing for individuals wanting to know their HIV status. In addition, HIV prevention and risk reduction education is an integral part of this program. Testing is provided by Certified HIV Prevention Counselors in English or Spanish.

Services Offered

  • Free confidential HIV testing in English and Spanish.
  • No Needles! HIV Testing done with Ora-Quick, a rapid result test done with an oral swab.
  • HIV results generally available within 20-40 minutes.
  • Individualized HIV pre- and post-test counseling for all clients.
  • Risk reduction education is provided.
  • Presentations available for groups: STDs, HIV/AIDS.

Cost of Services

HIV testing is provided without cost on an appointment or walk-in basis. Donations are welcomed. Services are available Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri, 10:00am to 2:00pm, with other appointment times made on an individualized basis. Testing takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
