WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
The Nebraska Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program provides food and nutrition information to help keep pregnant women, infants, and children under five years of age healthy and strong.
If you are eligible, you will receive nutrition information and counseling, referrals to other services, and checks to buy foods such as: milk, cheese, eggs, tuna fish, cereal, fruit juice, infant formula, peanut butter, carrots, and dried beans and peas.

- Counseling on how to use WIC foods to
improve health
- Checks to buy foods that help keep you
healthy and strong
- Immunization screening and referrals
- Discussions on food shopping, recipes, taking care of babies, and
breastfeeding education Information on good eating during pregnancy and
breastfeeding and how to feed your child
- Referrals to doctors, health centers, dentists, and programs like
Food Stamps, ADC, and Medicaid
