Community-associated MRSA
  Community-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus (staph) aureus (CA-MRSA) has gained National attention recently when cases appeared in youth athletes. CA-MRSA has been in our community for some time and many individuals are infected without knowing it. Some community members have MRSA and have no symptoms (they are colonized but not infected).
